Sometimes it is difficult for them to cope with too much information. Sometimes you want to simply be himself.

I think that is the most important, a sense of security that will help you to relax and maybe have fun.

This page offers some answers, I think this song is a good way to commit themselves.

My best advice is what you see and how he plays. You can learn a lot, your taste and sensory preferences. For example, if they throw something to watch them roll or hang loose chain or hourglasses, passing his fingers, it is likely that aspires to the visual sensory information. If it constantly running, jumping, climbing, etc., we can Crave movement. You say that as the swing can be propreoception (ie the direction of a member in space). You can make a simple game is to do everything possible because it is pressed into a box or a car?
It's really trial and error. He told me once, try a new activity 3 times, after the third time that the child or are interested in solving a bit of a game and try later to begin again.

Every child is different and react to different stimuli and sensations. You need to work hard to figure out what triggers a positive response from him. Think not just traditional games, try to include games with multiple senses to think - smell, touch, sound, kinesthetic, etc.
There are a number of games and activities that the child lose interest - but without the patience or find a heart.
On the other hand was / is a visual contact with you? attempted to do. Again, you have patience.
In addition, do not use simple words all the time. Assess their state of mind and act / react accordingly.
Some of these jump exercises, the material. "He may try not react immediately because it's time to process new information when they [not] force, which imitate, will start in May, and enjoy.
I also remember that the thresholds and the selection of the various sensations can vary from the "average". so do not force the child, but to push and promote ....

Here's a great book, the shouAP definitely [activities with children, I would say that all children and adults enjoy] that for various reasons.
"The Out-of-Sync Child Fun" by Carol S Kranowitz
we have done / from / to many activities in this book, and my niece, with good results.
